California just went 9.25 hours only on renewables. Its grid is built of mostly renewables and now can go hours at a time without using fossil fuels. The goal is to run on 60% renewables by 2030, and it will likely meet this goal early. Learn more here
2) 📊 A Call for More Environmental Regulations of AI:
AI has a huge carbon footprint and limited regulations in this area are starting to cause fear. Software maker Salesforce is requesting more regulations and public emissions disclosures from the tech sector so that more informed choices are made regarding AI. Learn more here
3) 🤩 Moving Solar Manufacturing Back to the US:
China is currently responsible for 80% of solar manufacturing. But, the IRA is changing this. Currently, solar giant Canadian Solar is moving manufacturing back to the US, and other large solar providers could follow. Learn more here
