2) πŸ’΅ ConocoPhillips in Talks to Acquire Marathon Oil:

ConocoPhillips has announced a $22.5 billion all-stock deal to acquire Marathon Oil, including $5.4 billion of debt. The acquisition, expected to close in the fourth quarter, will enhance ConocoPhillips' U.S. onshore portfolio with over 2 billion barrels of resources and ramp up share buybacks to $7 billion next year. The Biden-Harris Administration has launched a Federal-State Modern Grid Deployment Initiative to enhance America's power grid's resilience and capacity.
